Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. Who we are
Identiqore provides people-search reports assembled from public records and commercially available data sources. This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you. Identiqore operates in the United States only; the service is processed and stored on servers in the United States.
2. Two kinds of information we handle
Because Identiqore is a people-search service, we handle two distinct kinds of information, and this policy treats them separately:
- Your customer information— what we collect about you when you use the site, create an account, or subscribe (Sections 3–6).
- Public-records information — information about people (whether or not they are our customers) that we compile from public records and commercial data sources and present in search results and reports (Section 7). We do not collect this information from you, and anyone can ask us to suppress their own listing.
3. Customer information we collect
- Account information — email address, password hash, and subscription/billing status when you create an account.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we store only non-sensitive references (card brand, last four digits, expiry) — never full card numbers.
- Search activity — the queries you run and the reports you open, retained to provide your report history.
- Technical data — IP address, browser information, and logs used for security, rate limiting, and fraud prevention.
- Opt-out request data — if you submit a removal request, the identifying details you provide and your email address, used to verify and process the request.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- deliver search results, reports, and your report history;
- operate subscriptions, billing, and refunds;
- send transactional email — receipts, password links, billing notices, and opt-out confirmations;
- secure the service: authentication, rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not run advertising, do not use your search history for marketing, and do not send marketing SMS. If we introduce a marketing email program, it will be opt-in with a working unsubscribe link.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies only where the service needs them to function:
- Session cookies — keep you signed in and protect your account. Essential; the site cannot work without them.
- Bot protection — forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and/or Google reCAPTCHA. Where Google reCAPTCHA is used, the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply; where Cloudflare Turnstile is used, the Cloudflare Privacy Policy applies. These services may collect device and usage signals to distinguish people from automated traffic.
- Performance measurement — we collect anonymous page performance metrics (such as load time) directly on our own servers to keep the site fast.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party marketing analytics. Because there is no ad tracking to disable, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how the site behaves; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your public-records information, use the opt-out page (Section 7).
6. How we share customer information
We do not sell your customer information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with:
- Service providers working on our behalf under contract — payment processing, transactional email delivery, cloud hosting and object storage, bot protection (Section 5), and error monitoring. Each receives only what its function requires.
- Law enforcement or regulators — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or investigate fraud or abuse.
- A successor business — if Identiqore is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy would continue to apply to it.
7. Public-records information and your listing
Search results and reports are compiled from public records — property records, court filings, directories, and similar sources — and from commercially available data. This information concerns people regardless of whether they use Identiqore, and it is collected from those sources, not from the people it describes. Records reflect their source at the time of collection and can be incomplete or out of date.
Anyone can request removal of their own listing — no account or payment is required. Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; we verify each request by a code sent to your email, review it, and suppress matching records from search results, listings, and reports, including previously cached results. Because our sources continue to publish public records, a new record can create a new listing after a removal; if that happens, you can submit another request.
Judges, law-enforcement officers, and other persons protected by state confidentiality statutes (and survivors of abuse or stalking) may also contact [email protected] directly for expedited suppression under the applicable statute.
Under California law, displaying public-records information in paid reports may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and Identiqore may be required to register as a data broker [registration status — pending counsel confirmation]. The opt-out above is how you exercise your right to opt out of that sale or sharing.
8. Your privacy rights
Residents of California and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon) have rights over their personal information. Identiqore extends the core rights below to all United States residents, regardless of state:
- Know / access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate account information (most of it is editable from your account page).
- Delete — delete your account from the account page, or ask us to delete your customer information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — suppress your public-records listing via the opt-out page (Section 7).
To exercise the know, access, or correction rights, email [email protected]from the address on your account, or include enough information for us to verify your identity — we verify every request before acting on it, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We respond within the time required by your state’s law (45 days in most states, extendable once with notice). If we deny a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer the appeal within the statutory period. We will not discriminate against you — in price or service — for exercising any of these rights.
9. FCRA notice
Identiqore is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and our reports may not be used for employment screening, tenant screening, credit or insurance eligibility, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. See our Terms of Service for the full list of prohibited uses.
10. Data retention
Account and billing records are retained while your account is active and afterwards as required for tax, accounting, and dispute-handling obligations. Search activity is retained to provide your report history while your account exists. If you delete your account, your email address is anonymized and your sessions are revoked. Suppression requests are retained so that the suppression itself keeps working. Security logs are retained for a limited period for fraud and abuse prevention.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted and audited, and payment card numbers never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every unauthorized access; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
12. Children’s privacy
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our terms require account holders to be 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. Updates are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and material changes will be announced to account holders by email before they take effect.
